This presentation will take you through our implementation of Laravel on the IBM i and the evolution our development has experienced in the year and a half that it has been in operation. Beyond the implementation, we'll discuss how the demand for Rich User Experiences has reshaped the required architecture and what that looks like now.
Jeff has been a polyglot developer for more than 30 years now. Starting the first 10 years of his career working for Price Club, now Costco, on the IBM System/38 and AS/400. The last two decades have focused primarily on web development technologies working with organizations on implementing websites, web applications, blogs, eCommerce, and SaaS solutions. In April of 2017 Jeff joined American First Finance to help the company focus on creating a strategy for Web Applications on the IBM i.
